Rules
establish order, predictability, and stability in a team's
performance. Their absence would result in chaos, disorder, and
poor performance. Boundaries, rules, regulations, expectations,
or whatever we want to call them must exist to create a
high-performance environment.
In
our fun and interactive workshop, you will learn to:
Establish clear performance
expectations.
Confront
behavior that fails to meet expectations.
Understand the importance of discipline.
Develop “non-negotiables” for your team.
Practice harnessing harmful
behavior.
"I enjoyed the focus on the practicalities of the
everyday supervisory experience. Role playing
was exciting and did help to illustrate various
dynamics more concretely. Sheryl was a great
presenter, and I liked her attentiveness to
participants' issues and concerns."
- David Scott,
Director of Master's Programs,
Fuller Theological Seminary

Our Performance Expectations
workshop is fun and interactive. We limit our
workshops to 20 participants in each so that each individual
will get the most from the discussions and activities. Role-play,
exercises and games personalize the learning and make it
fun. Each participant has an opportunity to contribute
to the group and help enrich the learning experience for
all.
Come early, enjoy breakfast,
and meet others who bring a different perspective and can
help encourage and support your learning. Introduce
your partner to the group and learn how we all can help each
other learn and grow. Embrace the concept of a
"high-performance organization" and see your progress and
that of your team as you continue to participate in our
Compass Series. Review the objectives for last month's
workshop and see how much progress you and your classmates
have made. Gain new knowledge and skills on
Performance Expectations, then put together a Performance
Plan that will help you to use what you learn and continue
to improve. Keep in touch with your Accountability
Partner throughout the month and encourage and support each
other.
This Performance Expectations workshop is part of our
monthly Compass Series leadership development program,
emphasizing leadership and team-building.
